Your
DNC, NC1 or NC2
injection moulding machine can be
retro-fitted with a new control system within 2 days.
Machines above 1250 tonnes would take up to 5 days to
fit a new control cabinet which includes:
A
Sigmatek modular PLC for high-speed processing
Full
software package to run all existing options (ZE) and
specials (SO)
A
stroke system fitted with new linear transducers which
will now measure at 0.1mm definition as opposed to 0.5mm
A
new heating control system wired to Omron solid state
relays for direct PLC control no contact or burn out
problems and faster control
A
mould catalogue facility fitted enabling the mould settings
to be stored on a 3.5 inch floppy disk
An
LCD colour screen display with a qwerty keyboard
An
alarm-logging page where all error alarms are logged with
date and time of occurrence and rectification

Lubrication
monitored & controlled by the PLC
No
intermediate electrical hardware as the Sigmatek outputs
can drive a solenoid directly
Ejector
forward and rear stop now settable on screen via a stroke
transducer as opposed to altering ejector cams behind
the moving platen
PIMMS
software package including: Flexible hydraulic ejector
functions, 10-step injection speed profile, Last 15 cycle
parameters displayed, Recommended screw speed programme,
Maintenance programme, Graphical function overview, Start-up
programme (alternative settings for production start)
The
original control cabinet will be removed by PIMMS and
recycled to enable costs to be kept to a minimum
