Full System Upgrades

ET807 System Details – DNC, NC1 or NC2

Your DNC, NC1 or NC2 injection moulding machine can be retro-fitted with a new control system within 2 days. Machines above 1250 tonnes would take up to 5 days to fit a new control cabinet which includes:

A Sigmatek modular PLC for high-speed processing

Full software package to run all existing options (ZE) and specials (SO)

A stroke system fitted with new linear transducers which will now measure at 0.1mm definition as opposed to 0.5mm

A new heating control system wired to Omron solid state relays for direct PLC control – no contact or burn – out problems and faster control

A mould catalogue facility fitted enabling the mould settings to be stored on a 3.5 inch floppy disk

An LCD colour screen display with a ‘qwerty’ keyboard

An alarm-logging page where all error alarms are logged with date and time of occurrence and rectification

Lubrication monitored & controlled by the PLC

No intermediate electrical hardware as the Sigmatek outputs can drive a solenoid directly

Ejector forward and rear stop now settable on screen via a stroke transducer as opposed to altering ejector cams behind the moving platen

PIMMS software package including: Flexible hydraulic ejector functions, 10-step injection speed profile, Last 15 cycle parameters displayed, Recommended screw speed programme, Maintenance programme, Graphical function overview, Start-up programme (alternative settings for production start)

The original control cabinet will be removed by PIMMS and recycled to enable costs to be kept to a minimum
